We’re just about ready to update our customers from V3.9 to V4.0 finally, but have found issues with deployment on our test server machines. It seems that a pure .NET 4.0 installation does not get the patch automatically, even if Windows update is updating the system regularly. Just to be sure: is it safe to assume that we either need .NET 4.5 full profile or .NET 4.0 plus the additional manual patch KB2468871? Thanks for your help and clarification.
