Servicestack App Studio - ServiceStack Instance v5.8.1 or higher required

I am getting a strange error in one of my Servicestack projects when trying to open ServiceStack App Studio and typing in the base url. I am unable to reproduce this.

My App Studio version details is as follows:
Version: 6.0.1
ServiceStack: 5.133
Framework: .NET 6.0.3
OS: Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.19043.0
Chromium: 87.0.4280.27

My Visual Studio project is running .net 6 and is on Servicestack.6.0.3.

Using the same version of App Studio on a different projects running .net 6 and ServiceStack 6.0.3 works.

Does /metadata/app.json return an error in the project with the error?

We’re going to be retiring the Studio App soon, what do you still need to use from it?

We use it to capture users, validation rules etc…

Ok you are using DB Validation Rules?

The new Admin UI from last release is a replacement for Admin Users. We don’t have a built-in alternative for DB Validation Rules yet, but everything else is now built-in to ServiceStack UI.
